You can permanently delete your MindMath SA account and associated data. Choose the option that applies to you below.
If you can sign in
The fastest way to delete your account and all associated data is from within the app:
- Sign in to MindMath SA.
- Open your Profile.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm the prompt.
This is permanent and cannot be undone. After confirmation, your account, learning progress, parent/child links, saved work, and uploaded scans are removed from our active systems.
If you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your account or cannot sign in, you can request deletion by emailing us. We will verify ownership and process the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
Please send the email from the address associated with your account, or include the email address you used to sign up.
What gets deleted and what is kept
Deleted immediately or within 90 days: your profile, login credentials, learning progress, quiz attempts, mastery records, XP and streak, AI coach conversations, uploaded scans, parent/child links, and subscriptions.
Retained where required by law: we may keep a minimal record of basic transaction details (e.g. invoice references) for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes, in line with South African law and POPIA. This data is kept for the legally required period and is not used for any other purpose.
